COBB Tuning announced the immediate availability of the COBB Sport Spring Kit for the 2007-2012 MAZDASPEED3. The MAZDASPEED3 Sport Spring Kit lowers the car one inch in front and in back, giving the car an aggressive stance. The lower center of gravity and increased spring stiffness offer sporty handling and quicker response, without being harsh or bouncy.
The COBB Sport Springs for the MAZDASPEED3 were developed through on-track testing and competition on the COBB MAZDASPEED3 Time Attack car. The one inch drop effective lowers the center of gravity of the car while staying safely within the operating range of the suspension’s geometry. Front spring rate is increased by 15% and rear spring rate increased by 25% to counteract the understeer inherent in front wheel drive. The increased rates reduce body roll, firm up the ride for quick response and work well with the factory dampers. This kit is a direct replacement for the factory equipment. The COBB Sport Springs are powder-coated COBB Blue for an attractive finish that resists corrosion.
